THE TROOP 1 PHILOSOPHY
Troop 1 believes in the Scout Oath and Law. We believe that all scouts should have the opportunity to develop leadership and self-confidence. We are a boy-led troop. We believe that scouts sometimes need to make mistakes while learning, but the adults of our troop will support the scouts all along the way.
We encourage scouts to advance at their own pace, to discover their strengths, and develop their talents and interests. We strive to develop citizenship, personal fitness, and character.
We welcome parents of scouts at troop meetings and trips. We encourage family participation in special events throughout the year.
